In 1995 I issued a program called "RAF FAST JETS" for both the Amiga and PC (Running DOS). This was a "book on a floppy" type program, which were briefly popular before the large-scale adoption of the internet. The Amiga version was written using the "Hyperbook" utility and that for the PC was written using IBM's "LINKWAY" product. The program covered the four types of fast jets then currently operated by the Royal Air Force. I have taken the key text and picture elements from the program and archived them here for enthusiasts to reference. You will see that the pictures were originally produced for the low-res 16 and 256 colour screens in use in the early '90s, giving it a "retro" look. The artwork was all original, done with "Dpaint" on an Amiga. No scanned images here! The photos are from the collection of John Edwards.

The main body of the text is as it was written in 1995. I have added a few notes at the end of each page to add an update on the aircraft's history since then.
